- West Oakland has always been a spot of curiosity and, honestly, a bit of fear for me since moving to the East Bay 2 1/2 years ago. Tackling the community is my goal while I'm on the beat. Whether it's the latest community event, best restaurant for Sunday brunch or even just the local grocery store I'm there to get it.
